History

At Selman’s Jewelers, we pride ourselves on a rich legacy that began in 1945 when watchmaker Charles Selman established our fine jewelry store in McComb. Over the decades, our commitment to excellence has been upheld through various ownerships, culminating in 2023 when Kristin Ratliff, the daughter of previous owners Betsy and Lamar Murrell, took the helm. This continuity of leadership ensures that our values and dedication to quality remain steadfast.

In addition to our exquisite jewelry offerings, we provide a range of services including on-site repairs, engraving, watch repair, jewelry appraisals, and more. Our membership in the prestigious American Gem Society since 1985 underscores our commitment to maintaining the highest standards in the industry. At Selman’s Jewelers, we believe that every piece we offer is not just a product, but a cherished keepsake that will be valued for years to come.
